This contract supplies a single CH47 Chinook leased from VERT as a mobile hospital to cover a large area of South West Norway.
It flies five days a week, based at Flesland (Bergen), and provides both outpatient and surgical care, as well as a method of getting more serious cases to hospitals with more extensive facilities quickly.
G-VECH has been converted into the most comprehensive rotary medical facility in the Virtual World, and carries a medical staff of 15 doctors/surgeons and paramedic/pilots.
In support of the CH47 are a fleet of four Bell 430 aircraft, based at three different locations as detailed below, plus the fourth based at Bergen in direct support of the fleet, and also as an Air Ambulance for the area around Bergen.
