"Weigo"

A Division of Vertigo

Introduction

(FS2004)

Weigo, as a sub - Division of Vertigo, has been running since 2001, and has seen success as a small VIP transport company, and gained a good reputation in this difficult market.

Weigo has now expanded into the Offshore Oil and Gas industry with the award of a support contract carrying out crew changes and in-field shuttles to the Huizhou Oil Field, South East of Hong Kong in the South China Sea.

The Fleet has been recently updated with the introduction of the Bell 430in the VIP role, to replace the ageing S76B's, and the venerable S61N has now been provided for the feeder flights out to the offshore installations. These aircraft are fitted with a SAS system to allow hands - off flying, as the trip is nearly one and a half hours in duration.

The VIP contract continues, but a major change of base has had to be carried out. Following complaints from the Hong Kong Government Air Service, we have had to leave Chek Lap Kok Airport, and base ourselves at the old Hong Kong International Airport  at Kai Tak. Unfortunately, as the old approach lighting and checkerboard have been removed, we can't  enjoy the old dog leg approach ! Strict rules about over - flying residential areas are in force, so follow the Weigo Approach Procedure to the letter !

Flights and routings are listed on the "Flights" page below, and the timings can be found on the "MayFly" page.

Scenery for the contracts will be posted on the main Airwego site Downloads page, and described on the Contracts pages as required.

This contract update also sees the introduction of the new "MayFly" system. It's use is described on the page below the table.

So - don't sit there - go earn us some dosh !
