Introduction

Mountain flying is one of the most demanding and dangerous tasks a pilot can face. No flat fields to autorotate onto, no large stretches of water to ditch into, just cold, hard ice and rock.

Despite the obvious dangers, the beauty and rich resources of the Alaskan mountains draw both tourists and their associated industries in their thousands.

Contracts currently under way are a Lighthouse maintenance contract, and a Mountain Rescue contract.

Each contract has it's own aircraft type, individually modified for it's specific role, and they can be downloaded from the fleet page.

Remember - rotor blades - lots of rock, and lots of snow don't mix very well - so fly safely !!
