Aircraft problems
With the changes being made within flightsim programs ie FSX we have tried to keep up to date with compatible aircraft. All pilots need to know that things have not changed and we are still using FS2004 as our primary platform until FSX gets sorted or a replacement turns up. In the meantime we will try our best to provide models that span both but do not make any promises. If you have any problems with any of the aircraft please check you have installed it correctly etc before contacting us. We know we have made some mistakes with some installers and we are making the required changes and of course we apologise for any wasted time you have encountered with them. We have began using the CRJ200 and pilots must understand that this is basically a FS2002 model with updates. We hope sometime in the future that a new freeware model will appear.

Rome aircraft-Changes
MD81 flights from Rome now replaced with dry lease B737-300s.
There have been some operation setbacks whilst operating our MD81's so we have returned them to the Lessor and we will now operate Boeing 737-300's. All pilots are to report to the main office to pick up all required paperwork. Pilots with a preference for the MD81 will be assigned the 737-300 unless alternative arrangement made with Derek Jones.

Manchester Airport - Changes to runway
Please note that as from June 7th 2007 runway designators have changed at Manchester Airport ( EGCC). Runways 24L and 24R are now 23L and 23R. Runways 6L and 6R are now 5L and 5R. No changes have been made in flight simulator but please check with IVAO and VATSIM before flying on line

When we started flying with IVAO we were forced to change from AWG to VAW because there was a real world airline with that prefix. Further investigations by AirWeGo staff have shown that the said airline does not now trade and IVAO have decided we can take up our AWG prefix. It is with great pleasure that as from the publication of the winter 2006 schedules all flights will have the prefix AWG.
As from 07/09/06 if you fly on line with either IVAO or VATSIM your flight number will be AWG**** (* being the number of the flight). All pireps until the release of the winter schedules should still be shown as VAW.

From 1April 2005 all B1900D's are to be removed from the schedules for ultimate sale. All will be replaced by EMB120 and Atr aircraft.

Due to the distance covered on the flight from Humberside to Hamburg (AWG7012/3) and the increase in passenger loads please note that from immediate effect the B1900D has been replaced by an Atr42-500. The schedules have not been changed as yet.

3. Final app to R09 . Visual decision point is on a non standard base legand
requires an immediate right turn of 105o to establish on the runway centreline.
4. To avoid damage to runway surface all 737/320 or larger a\c landing R27 are
to continue to rwy end & make 180o turn at R09 threshold prior to backtrack.
5. Radio Sonde balloons are released daily at 1115 & 2315hrs
6. Main road crosses runway at mid point. ATC req 3 mins notice so as to stop
traffic.
7. Major bird migration route between feb-jun & aug-nov.

Taxi to safe area. Apply parking brakes Apply full throttle, and note N1 setting. If N1 settles at 76%, go to Tech Log page and download amended .air file. (This file includes the previously noted low ground idle RPM fix).

The following NOTAM applies to the Boeing B757-300.
Use engine N1 settings for initial takeoff.
Use Indicated Airspeed/ Vertical Speed settings in Data Sheet for climb to 10,000 ft to avoid speed increasing above 250Kt. (Speed will increase above 290Kt if climbing using N1 setting in Data Sheet)
Use Engine N1 settings for flight at cruise Flight Levels.

With immediate effect until further notice AWG5060/61 (Humberside-Oslo) will be operated with ATR72.(G-SHUT)
The above changes are made due to CAA legislation relating to minimum fuel quantities required for division to alternate airport. Saab 340B carries insufficent fuel for division on Humberside-Oslo route.
