Steve Chase is Vertigo's Chief Executive Officer.
He is responsible for running
the VertiGo Rotary Division, which includes rotary fleet procurement, &
painting, production of Contracts and flights, scenery support, web site
management, and liaising with the Group CEO as well as his normal Executive tasks.
In the real world Steve works as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer
at Humberside Airport with twenty nine years experience on various helicopter
types, including Lynx AH1 & AH7, Gazelle AH1, Scout AH1, Skeeter AH1, AS365 C,
N, and N2 Dauphin, Sikorsky S76 A, A+ and C Spirit, Bolkow BO105, and Bell
G4. Having survived two engine failures, two low level bird strikes, a near miss
with a Harrier, (during various airborne test flights), and a mortar attack by
the IRA, he's now of the opinion that Virtual Flight is much more relaxing !!
Version 4 of Microsoft Flight Sim was responsible for introducing
Steve to flight simulation and since then Steve has acquired a variety of skills useful in running a VA!
